Welcome Ms. Tunya Turner

Tunya S. Turner is a proud product of the DeKalb County School District. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she began her journey in education. Ms. Turner has been an educator in the DeKalb County School District for seventeen years. She served seven wonderful years at Dunaire Elementary as a Fifth Grade Teacher Leader and two outstanding years at Miller Grove Middle School as a Seventh Grade Teacher Leader.

In addition, Ms. Turner served as an Assistant Principal at Sequoyah Middle School for six years and one year at Panola Elementary. Currently, Ms. Turner is serving as an Assistant Principal at Coralwood School and Margaret Harris Comprehensive School.

Her love for children and education can be seen in her unwavering commitment and dedication to children, teachers, parents, and community members at large.

Ms. Turner firmly believes that all things happen for a reason; just believe.
