Coralwood Challenge

We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our Coralwood Challenge goal by raising over $56,100. Thank you to this amazing community of generous and supportive families and community members who believe in our inclusion program!   The money raised will help us continue to fund amazing projects at Coralwood. Since we met our fundraising goal, our students will have a fabulous Superhero Party on November 1st.

Jumpstart's Read for the Record

Jumpstart’s Read for the Record brings together millions of adults and children around the world each year to read the same book on the same day in order to raise awareness about the critical importance of early literacy. This year, Jumpstart is celebrating our 14th anniversary of Read for the Record on November 7, 2019, with the book Thank You, Omu!

2019-2020 Teacher of the Year Masumi Gilmartin
Gilmartin

I'm originally from California and have been in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. I began my teaching career working in an Intensive Behavioral Intervention program for children with Autism.   I moved to Georgia in 2000. Since moving here, I have taught children from infants to school-age and worked as a curriculum coordinator.   Some of my favorite hobbies include drawing, cooking, reading, writing, playing videogames/boardgames, and collecting fountain pens thanks to my husband, Kris. I'm a mom or ferrent to three happy ferrets, Twizz (aka Twizzler), Paisley, and Harlock.
