 The Multi-Age Team at Coralwood

Coralwood is a school that specializes in Early Childhood Education for students with disabilities and typically developing students. The school serves children beginning at three years of age through kindergarten. The school follows the state approved, age appropriate curriculum for the students enrolled at Coralwood. Many of the classes provide an integrated educational setting that places students with disabilities alongside students who are typically developing.

Our classrooms have wonderful assistants who help guide your children through the academic portion of their school day and assist with their physical care and social-emotional growth.

Supporting our efforts in the classroom is a team of expert therapists, who consult regularly with us in regards to the children's Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, etc on an ongoing basis. We also participate in a full range of school activities: Music, Art, PE (Motor) and Library, in addition to cultural arts programs and field trips.

Every week your child will work on their individual IEP goals, working one on one with the teacher or an assistant, or in a group setting if appropriate. Your child will also work on grade appropriate academics that have been carefully adapted to meet each student's needs.
